    Please stop by the Pearl S. Buck school lobby on Thursday, May 30th to place your vote for the open PTO Board positions for the school years of 2013-2015.
     
    The polls will be open between 9AM and 11AM and again between 5PM and 7PM.
     
    Remember, just one vote per family is permitted and you must vote in person. There will be NO votes by proxy. There will be NO absentee ballots.

    We recently announced our participation in Scholastic's
    "Read for the World Record Summer Challenge". If you missed it, here is the letter that was sent home .... 
     
    To help build up your child's summer reading library, please come and check out our BOGO (Buy One, Get One FREE!) Scholastic Book Fair during Field Day on Friday, June 7th!

    The Pearl Buck Science Fair will be held on Thursday, May 30th from 2pm - 3pm and again, in the evening, from 7pm-8pm.  
     
    ******* If you are the parent of a 4th grader, this message is for YOU!! ******

    Traditionally, the 4th grade hosts a bake sale during the science fair and we are asking for your help :) We need bakers and volunteers for this event. Below is the link for our Signup Genius ... check it out and pledge to either donate a baked good OR donate your time work at the sale. Thanks so much for all of your help!

Pearl S Buck PTO —
Parents and Teachers working together to enrich the academic experience of ourchildren
 
 
 At Pearl Buck, all parents and guardians are members of our PTO!
 
 
 
The purpose of the Pearl Buck -Teacher Organization (PTO) is to offer support to the principal, teachers and staff of the school in their efforts to educate our children.  

Our support comes in many ways including: raising money to pay for, among other things, assemblies, field trips, library books, reading Olympics, weekly readers, and supplies and equipment for the teachers. 

We join the teachers in planning events for students and family members to socialize outside of the classroom. We alsovolunteer for in school and outside of school functions.
 
We hope that you will find all the information you need about upcoming events, volunteer opportunities and ways to raise funds for the school on this website. If there is something you’d like to see here, please contact:
